Did you know that laser hair removal is actually one of the most popular ways to get rid of unwanted stomach hair? Men are really known for having a happy trail, but sometimes women get these so called trail lines as well. They don’t make us women so happy. Women usually want their stomach to be smooth and free of hair. Women typically experience this hair growth during pregnancy, or times of hormonal change. Let’s learn more about stomach laser hair removal for women.

Just How Effective is Stomach Laser Hair Removal for Women?

Stomach laser hair removal for women is actually pretty effective. Lasers have come a really long way, and they have lasers that can target just about any hair color and skin color combination. The key is to remember that laser hair removal is not going to be 100% effective after just one treatment. You will need to have multiple treatments done at regular intervals to get the best results.   The results are also not really permanent. They are very long lasting, but chances are you will have to have some maintenance treatments done to keep your skin smooth and free of hair.

How Often Should Treatment Be Done?

Typically, it is a good idea to have your treatments spread out every six weeks or so. Go continuously until you reach the level of smoothness you are looking for. The more hair you have in the area, the more visits you will likely need to have. This is because each treatment will target certain active hair follicles. As your hair continues to move through growth cycles, the laser procedure will break that cycle.

Is Stomach Laser Hair Removal for Women Safe During Pregnancy?

Truthfully, the easy answer to this question is no. It is not recommended for women who are pregnant to have any sort of laser procedure during the course of their pregnancy. It is especially not recommended around the stomach area. It is also important to note that you may experience some hair growth on the stomach area while you are pregnant, but that hair will sometimes fall out by itself after the delivery.   If you are pregnant, just wait until after you have the baby and see if the hair goes away on its own. If not, then it will be safe to undergo the procedure once you are no longer pregnant.

Is Stomach Laser Hair Removal Painful?

People often wonder whether or not laser hair removal hurts. There is some level of pain associated with the procedure. It doesn’t necessarily hurt, but there may be some discomfort. Often times people will take a pain reliever before going in for their procedure, or they may consider having a topical cream applied to numb the area. Either way, the pain is not very severe, and usually just presents as a mild sting.   We hope that we have answered some of the questions that you have had about stomach laser hair removal for women.
